Yong Fan, COO and co-founder of GutCRINE, has a background within pharmacognosy and have held several postdoc positions from Columbia University and University of Copenhagen with focus on metagenomics-based identification and characterization of bacterially derived peptides/compounds from human gut microbiome, as well as metabolomics characterization for discovery of predictive and prognostic biomarkers within cardiometabolic diseases
Tobias Horneman-Thielcke, CEO of GutCRINE, has a background within medicine from University of Copenhagen. After working as a physician within internal medicine, he transitioned to the pharmaceutical industry, working for several year in various leadership positions and disease areas within strategy, drug positioning and launch execution. Tobias Horneman-Thielcke is an entrepreneur and partner in the venture capital fund Eir Ventures
